Areas of assistance include housing, eligibility and availability of government-funded long term care programs, transportation, Medicaid/Medicare assistance, personal care, respite care, and referrals for prescription assistance. Depending on the information requested, a listing of the various services and resources, tip sheets and other materials will be mailed to the caller from our resource directory. There is no charge for the assistance, although we do accept donations to help us continue to provide this service in the community.
To best serve callers, the resource specialists may need to have information on income and health status of the older adult or person with disability. The Region 3B AAA is HIPAA compliant and all information provided is confidential.
